Please join us for the Illinois Poor People's Campaign's inaugural statewide action call on Wednesday, April 15th at 8pm Central time! Our featured political education presenter will be Sheilah Garland-Olaniran, who will discuss systemic poverty and the impact of the coronavirus pandemic.
Sheilah Garland-Olaniran is a retired union organizer, and is currently a Board Member of the Southwest Environmental Task Force, a Co-founder/Member of the Illinois Single Payer Coalition, a Co-founder of the Medicare for All Coalition, a member of the Chicago Southeast Side Coalition to Ban Petcoke, as well as an active member of the Illinois Poor People's Campaign.
So let's come together on this call to hear the latest about this historic campaign, listen to the stories of impacted folks from across the state, and to learn what we can do right now to plug in.
