We all must do our part to slow the spread of this virus to protect each other, especially the most vulnerable among us. We can do this by keeping ourselves informed, following best practices and setting a good example and so, we have decided to postpone this event.

We hope you will stay connected, take care of yourself, your loved ones and also, those you don’t know but who are in need.

Come join us as we gather to learn more about the campaign and launch a Springfield area chapter of the Illinois Poor People’s Campaign.

The Poor People’s Campaign: A National Call for Moral Revival is a broad-based, joyful, non-violent, mass movement for voting rights and voter registration, addressing the interlocking injustices of racism, poverty, the war economy, environmental devastation, and the false moral narrative of religious nationalism.

Connect Springfield’s issues with people’s issues around the nation.

Refreshments will be served.

We are all in this together.
