The Maryland Poor People’s Campaign would like to invite you to the “We the People” Prayer for the Nation at Watkins Regional Park in Upper Marlboro.
The event is open to all persons regardless of religious faith or lack thereof; our prayers will be centered on the five interlocking evils of Systemic Racism, Poverty, Ecological Devastation, Militarism and the War Economy, and the distorted Moral Narrative of Religious Nationalism.
