Did you know about these January birthdays of civil rights champions all in a row: MLK 1/15, Muhammad Ali 1/17, and our very own Elijah Cummings 1/18?
In fact, this year MLK Jr. Day is the late Congressman Cummings’ 70th birthday: and his wife, Maya Rockeymoore, will be gracing us with her attendance!
We will then move from celebrating old beginnings onto looking #ForwardTogether towards new ones as we review our 14 Policy Priorities and continue discussing housing issues in Maryland.
