Michigan Poor People’s Campaign along with the Coalition to Stop Ajax Asphalt are working to stop AJAX from building a hot melt asphalt plant on the border of Flint and Genesee Township. We invite you to attend our upcoming direct action to deliver Petitions and Public Comment to Whitmer, on October 27, 2021 at 1:30 PM in Lansing, MI.
RSVP to join the Coalition to Stop Ajax Asphalt in demanding Governor Whitmer take action to stop AJAX from building a polluting plant in their community. Flint and Genesee Township residents will travel to Governor Whitmer’s Office to hand-deliver petitions against the Ajax air permit proposed in their community. The Coalition to Stop Ajax Asphalt will deliver a coffin full of thousands of petitions demanding the denial of the Ajax asphalt plant air permit.
